The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) is the UK's only professional body for salespeople. Founded in 1966 to promote standards of excellence in sales and sales management, and to enhance the status and profile of sales as a profession, the ISMM has been the authoritative voice of selling and the custodian of sales standards, ethics and best practice for nearly four decades.
Three levels of qualifications
Whether you are just thinking about beginning a career in sales, or have been working in a sales role for some time, there is a nationally-recognised qualification to suit your own needs and to help you develop your skills.

Entry level guidance
Certificate in Sales (Level 2) Age 16 years or over, with at least five GCSE's or equivelent.
Advanced Certificate in Sales (Level 3) A minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivelent and at least 1 years sales experience.
Diploma in Strategic Sales (Level 5) A degree or at least five years sales experience.
